Babies are born without their kneecaps.
Physicals are required for entry into North Carolina schools and to participate in sports. Our physicians recommend annual physicals to monitor your child’s development, and ensure they are up-to-date on all immunizations. During annual physicals, there is the opportunity for parents to talk with our physicians about any concerns regarding their child’s health, development or growth.
Schools and athletic organizations require sports physicals for participation. These physicals are important, because they ensure your child is safely able to participate in sport activities, as well as reveal any potential condition or problems, such as asthma.
Please keep in mind that in anticipation of heavy demand for annual physical and sport physical appointments, you should plan to schedule an appointment well in advance (4-6 weeks).
